I wonder if Lusamine herself was responsible for Prof. Mohn's disappearence. If you talk to the Aether workers, they will say that after her husband got lost in the UB dimension, she took over the company. Now isn't that convenient for someone who is obsessed with UB's and wants them all to herself? She might have done it, throw him in there never to be seen again because he might have been in her way. And now that she became the president of Aether, she had every power and rights in her hands to get her sweet little ultra beasts. Or was Mohn's disappearence simply an accident caused by experiments with UB's?

I haven't really thought deep into the story, although I have a theory that the guy who runs Poke Pelago might be Lillie and Gladian's dad... and that's where he end up when going through the dimension

There was a part when you read the books in one of the Aether offices that says Lillie and Gladian's dad was known to go through a dimension, which is probably why their mother went coo-coo (I might be wrong on some of that information but that's what I heard)
